Another lovely start with blue sky - forecast for slightly warmer today although Allen ( wints) did say it was 29 c in the shade behind his van yesterday!!

Need to find supermarket today and stock up - pulled into one yesterday and got to entrance to find 2.5 m height barrier!!!

Today I had Tilly and Ethan

So up early to go and collect them as we were going on the tram from Ashton under lyne to Eccles, where are mission was to buy Eccles cakes.

We did manage to buy them in Morrisons.
Are next expedition will be to Altringham or Bury.
It's interest ending to see the scenery as you pass through the areas

Been roped in to take our George to a friends practise track this after.
So I will be bending our George's ear somewhat

But he will know how he feels.

Oh and the way we go is that George knows where we are going
So do I take the car or the camper   
Apparently it is just off the M6 and can be seen from the motorway near middlewich I think he said

Oh well should be fun
His dad will meet us there as he is working round that area 
So which bike will he be riding? That's the next question and do I hang around to watch

AND Granddaughter has been granted a place at her preferred primary school.       

AND the sun is shining and it's a good forecast for the w/e, so smiles all round. !

We were worried this time last year for George's high school as it wasn't his feeder or catchment schools

Been hospital for myself  for a change today seen the dermatologist re 2 funny spots on my face anyway he could have zapped them or cream so I opted for the cream. His parting words were by using the cream they will seem to get worse before they get better.

So this should be fun 
Might even improve my looks   

Anyway weather glorious again Wellys  packed  I not falling for that one

I am back from my travels - did you miss me - thought not  

I ended up in Ormskirk one night near to Tescos.  Then found out I was only about 10miles from Southport.  Could have gone and knocked on Bob's door but wasn't with the motorhome at that point.  

Got the chance to go and play with some knitting wool  and eventually ended up in Scarborough at a knitting group I know.  Don't know how that happened but one afternoon the wind got up on the campsite and blew an awning over a caravan - I was just too slow with the video else I could have won £250 on the television.

Eventually finished my travels in York on a CL but had to leave there cos they were having a big rally.  Could have objected but I don't like crowds so moved onto another site.  John Lewis had opened a new store, a day or so before, so went and mooched round there and bought some bits and bobs. The store is huge.

Colin phoned me one night and asked if I knew my way home cos I had been away for sometime. Told him I had forgotten which way to turn out of York so he gave me directions.  

While away Colin's driving licence arrived and also my passport.  Although a new photo was due on Colin's licence and included in the application DVLA haven't used it and sent the £20 back but not the photo.  Will have to ask for the photo back.

Bob I hope your driving licence is on its way.

Just waiting Joyce for the 3 weeks they recommend before calling and asking when ?

Back from a very windy Chapel St Leonards-not been that way for years and probably won't be going back soon - never seen so many static caravans in Skegvegas or been stuck in traffic jams for so long!
Apologies to any members living there or anyone who has a love of that area but just not my "cup of tea"

Lovely sunny day here with a cool breeze. But can't complain as the sun seems to have shone most of April.

Peter Skegness is too commercialised.  Try Lowestoft next time - we even managed to park motorhome on seafront  

Bob I am keeping my fingers crossed for your driving licence to be returned before going to France.  Took Colin's three months from applying to receiving new one.

Lesson is learnt 30 mph means 30 not 32 or 33 or 34

Depends on district I think, from a traffic copper a few year back, Lancashire is 10% plus 2 mph so in a 30 zone you will get done at 36

Had early start as granddaughter is staying with us for a few days and she is used to getting up early for nursery

Up early and off to the garage to have the mechanic confirm what I suspected, power steering pump needs replacing, leaking fluid, which is also an automatic MOT failure. Hopefully will have part in the next couple of days and have it fitted Monday. Purse is hiding in my bag somewhere!

Have been catching up on paperwork which  had mounted up whilst I was away.     I don't like paperwork would sooner scrub underneath of the motorhome

Spent yesterday afternoon at Jungle Mania - hundreds of noisy children lol
When we came back granddaughter wanted to go into the MH so she could see her bed when she came with us !!

Yes doesn't take long for grandkids to take ownership.
Easter saw our Tilly joining me on the journey, good job it was only 4? Miles as she never stopped talking and telling me what she could see.


After tea she came with me to take izzy for a walk but on the way we had to feed the fish, then check on Harry the rabbit, then the goats and hens. We then had a walk up to the bench and I would sit and she would climb
Also she created a new song that went like this

Then later we would take izzy out for her final run before bed and Tilly liked this as she was out in the dark with a head torch on and looked at the fairy lights

When home didn't take granny long to take in the SILENCE 
   

Raining here for a change  so decided to sort motorhome out and throw the unused stuff out.Where does all the useless stuff come from?  No don't answer that

We have just taken all the winter stuff out & replenished with summer, need to make space for vino & biere as stock is almost non existent.

Just had my salmon BBQ for me by 3 yes 3 young chaps (the lad next door and his mates) 

Bought our Tilly's fairy lights so now waiting for it to go dark to see how they look

Wet start here this morning followed by a lovely sunny afternoon.  Been out and upgraded my mobile phone. No it's not another blackberry but a Samsung.  Using it now and seems easy to use.
